CNG Financial Corporation was founded in 1994. It is one of the original leaders in the short-term loan industry and has been in business since opening its first location in Covington, Kentucky.  It is now based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The head of CNG, Jared Davis started his career as Provident Bank in the Collections and Repossessions Division. 

A subsidiary of CNG is Check ‘n’ Go., the second largest provider of payday loans. It also provides title loans, Axcess auto loans, and Axcess prepaid credit cards.

Also does business as: Eastern Specialty Finance, Inc., and Southwestern & Pacific Specialty Finance, Inc.

Jared Davis, head of CNG, is one of the “nastiest” in the payday loan business.
