If fraudulent activity continued after you reported the problem, I would want to understand the timeline very carefully.

What did you tell the bank? When did you tell them? Which transactions had only been attempted at that point? Which transactions happened afterward? Did the bank say it was replacing or disabling your card? What happened next?

Those details can transform the story from “someone stole money from my account” into a different question:

“What happened after my bank knew there was a problem?”
