MNE Services, Inc. is a short-term (payday) loan business operated by the Miami Nation Tribe of Oklahoma. The Tribe is recognized by the U.S. Government as a Sovereign Nation. The “MNE” stands for Miami Nation Enterprises. It operates two other short-term lending operations under the names AMG Services, Inc. and Tribal Financial Services, Inc.
Following its $21 million settlement with the FTC, MNE’s CEO Don Brady agreed to pay $96,000 in fines.
Ferrari racecar driver Scott Turner arrested on charges of racketeering related to MNE’s payday loan operations. The U.S. Government alleges his racing cars and team were funded by predatory lending businesses.
MNE Services, Inc. is rated “F” by the Better Business Bureau. Complaints to the BBB alleged short-term loan interest rates between 600 and 1,800 percent.
