The people giving you those messages may be trying to collect your debt in a way that actually entitles you to compensation and elimination of your debt. I know it's a little complicated, but let me tell you as an attorney, you don't necessarily owe what they say you owe. You owe it to yourself to get your entire situation checked out by a Consumer Financial Protection Attorney like myself. Just get the piece of mind that you're paying only exactly what you need to pay, and that you are being protected by the rights that are designed to protect you.
